The Doddappa Appa College of BCA Basavakalyan is a department at SSK Basaveshwar college campus. It is established in 2001. The Doddappa Appa College of BCA Basavakalyan offers a3-year (6-semester) undergraduate program focusing on software application design, IT systems,and emerging technologies. This department is affiliated initially to the Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi since from2001-02to2022-23. Nowitscontinuing affiliated to the Bidar University Bidar, Bidar since from 2023-24 onwards as-well as approved from the AICTE New Delhi. This department provides in-depth training in programming, AI/ML, and networking, with an intake of 130 students. It could do everything in an orderly way owing to its clear Vision and Mission statements and also for its Governance and Leadership as it has a participatory leadership. College has multitier system in its administrative structure. College has its Governing body which works in tandem with the management under whom the Principal, IQAC, Heads of the Departments, various cells and other bodies work. The Governing Body through its periodic meetings takes stock of the academic conditions and plans accordingly. It plans about starting of new programs and also it plans mobilization of resources to run such programs. The College academic activities are carried on by its directions and financial support.
